Thank you, Lars, it brought back good memories. The NY Times once said in a byline, it now says humorously, “should one call him Meat or Mr. Loaf?”
I always liked Hot Patootie, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMRl55U0eDw but you have to watch the full Rocky Horror Show to make sense of it. And yes, I watched it at midnight, as you were supposed to, but long before it became a teen ritual. I was riding a Yamaha 305 at the time, which a friend used to call a Yamerhammer because of its piston noise (he later turned out to be an undercover NY City police agent). It was after 1968 after all, a wonderfully turbulent time.
