My dear parents took me to the cinemas to watch this awesome musical back in 1966.
I was eight years old — and of course I fell hopelessly in love with Maria.

  1. I always remember the scene in the Mad Max movie where they are watching the Sound of Music and everyone is crying. It showed the world they had lost.

  2. I’ll never forgive Julie Andrew’s husband for getting her to bare her breasts in S.O.B. , in 1981.

    I’m far from a prude , but I can’t see what was gained by that act , and I know that for many of her fans , much was lost.
